Author’s Notes: This was the probably hardest story I’ve ever written. Mostly because I didn’t quite manage to get the emotional tone right on the first try and had to edit it a lot to get there. Thanks, darkmoore, for being the hard taskmaster that you are. Otherwise this story would have fallen short of the level it is at right now.
Summary: As always, it's left to the Atlantis expedition to mop up after the Ancients.

Author's Notes: For some reason the table sparks a multitude of pictures that are really intermingling in my head. Especially the prompts "Too much" and "Not enough" made me think in very specific ways from the very beginning. Why the prompts are more Highlander: The Series than any of the other fandoms I write I have no clue. They just are. If you're along for the ride on this one you should read the sequel, "Not enough". There is another link to the sequel at the bottom.
